Last year, the turnover of Respublika publications group stood at 120.07 million litas (34.67 million euros), an increase of 14.2% year-on-year. The revenues of Lietuvos Rytas group dropped 5.7% over the year to 89.748 million litas (25.9 million euros), the daily Verslo Zinios informs in the "Top 1000" list of companies that earned the highest revenues in 2007.

According to the data available for 2007, Respublika publications group holds the 156th position and Lietuvos Rytas the 214th position on the list.

The concern MG Baltic Media, owning the internet portal alfa.lt and television channel LNK raised its turnover 24.4% last year to 92.232 million litas (26.63 million euros) and captured the 210th place.

The daily Verslo Zinios last year took the 594th place and raised its revenues 17.6% to 25.4 million litas (7.33 million euros). The revenues of the media management group Diena Media News, formed by the investment company Hermis Capital last year, totaled 24.796 million litas (7.16 million euros) in the same year and the company occupied the 597 place, the daily Vakaru Ekspresas writes.
