Newsweek: Estonia ranks 32nd among the World’s best countries; highest in Baltics

Print versionNewsweek magazine that is issued in the United States compiled a list of the 100 best countries in the world to live in, writes LETA/National Broadcasting. Estonia ranks 32nd, Lithuania 34th and Latvia 36th.

The magazine ranked Estonia 32nd, between Slovakia and Hungary.
In order to compile the list, Newsweek analysed five areas – education, health, quality of life, economic dynamics and the political environment.
Ranking first in the list is Finland, followed by Switzerland, Sweden, Australia and Luxembourg. Lithuania ranks 34th, Latvia 36th and Russia 51st. The end of the list comprises of Uganda, Zambia, Cameroon, Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
