Registered unemployment rate in Estonia fell to 12% in mid-July

As of Friday morning, July 16, there were 78,019 persons registered in the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund, writes LETA/Postimees Online.

The number of registered jobless persons fell by 1,290 in the past week.

 

According to the Unemployment Insurance Fund, the registered unemployment rate fell from 12.2% to 12%.

 

As of July 15, the fund had a total of 2,143 jobs to mediate, 1,974 of them in Estonia.

 

Most job vacancies offered are for construction workers (161), customer service personnel (125), sales representatives (97), seamstresses (96) and chefs (81).
