Ukio Bankas, in cooperation with Lithuania's public libraries, joins the project "Libraries for Innovation", encouraging its clients to test their knowledge about careful behaviour on the internet by taking a test on secure internet.

This test is available on Ukio Bankas website www.ub.lt by clicking on a special link on the homepage, the bank said on Monday. "By inviting Lithuanian public library visitors and all the other Internet users to take this test we aim to make as many people as possible think about their behaviour on the internet and about what and how should be done in this virtual space to protect the privacy of oneself and one's close persons, to avoid fraudulence and losses," Mindaugas Raguotis, coordinator of the campaign Careful on the Internet, said.

The interactive test on secure Internet "Are you really safe on the internet?" consists of two questionnaires. One of them, with colourful and live illustrations, is intended for young internet users – children and adolescents, the second one – for parents and newcomers to the internet – persons who still have to deepen their knowledge about careful behaviour on the internet, writes LETA/ELTA.

"We recommend using this test as a supplementary teaching aid at schools during informatics lessons or additional classes. By doing this test you will not only check your knowledge about careful behaviour on the internet but will also learn the main rules on careful behaviour on the internet," Raguotis said.
