The phone is available only in the mobile network of EMT.
This is the first time that iPhones, which have virtually become a cult, are legally sold in Estonia.
EMT has not yet disclosed the retail price of the new phones.
EMT public relations manager Kaja Pino said that there were approximately 600-700 persons at the opening party on Thursday, and about 300 people stood in line to buy the iPhone.
Pino added that, of course, not all of them wanted to buy a phone since some people came with someone for a company, did not buy the phone, and some of them where in pairs.
Pino said that people had come already before stores’ opening to stay in line to buy the iPhone. Public interest in iPhone is greater than expected, she noted.
