Estonia’s ambassador to OECD Marten Kokk stated that Estonia can offer quite a lot to OECD, for example its experiences from constructing and developing its e-Government and e-services sector, writes Äripäev.ee/LETA, citing the Public Sector Yearbook.

“Despite economic orientations, OECD is also a union of countries that think alike in political terms,” said Kokk, explaining that therefore Estonia’s positions on the potential accession of Russia into the organisation are very welcome.
He added that this does not mean that Estonia is a ‘one topic country’. “There are simply issues that we know and there is no reason to be ashamed of it,” remarked Kokk.
According to the ambassador, Estonia has quite a few things to offer to OECD, for example its experiences from reconstructing and developing the e-Government and e-services sector.
