800 enterprises are already customers of Estonian Post's E-Invoicing Centre

According to Türk, 800 enterprises were already customers of Estonian Post's E-Invoicing Centre that is now Estonia's largest service provider in B2B customer segment.
E-invoice is not a PDF invoice sent by e-mail but the XML-bill that is conforming to a standard set by Estonian Banking Association, which can be handled electronically by the recipient, for example to direct to approval process and to import into accounting program.
"The keyword is convenience of the solution and simplicity of the joining procedure. It takes 5 minutes over the web for the company to start sending and receiving invoices electronically," said Türk.
Margus Tammeraja, CEO of E-Invoicing Centre, said that the solution benefits both – one man companies and big enterprises: "E-Invoicing Centre solution is used among others by Estonian Post, public schools, Kuresaare, Saue and Jõgeva municipalities. State authorities are seriously considering to send and receive more actively e-invoices in order to increase efficiency.”
E-Invoicing Centre Ltd is a subsidiary of Estonian Post. The shareholders are AS Webmedia and E-Bookkeeping.
