The main aim of the page is to bring together Latvians living in the UK and provide them with interesting and useful information, as well as to publicize Latvian events in various parts of the country. On top of the information section, it is also planned to include interviews and an opinion column.

The creators of the site hope that this information and news portal will help Latvians to better adjust to life in a foreign country, and will also help them to retain the traditions of their native country.

The idea for the website came from third-generation British Latvian Linite Zobens-East. Since her childhood, she has been actively engaged in Latvian society in London and continues to do so today, taking part in various cultural groups and assisting with the work of the London Latvian School and the Latvian Welfare Fund.
