Lithuania's retail chain Fresh Market is subject to bankruptcy proceedings

Vilnius County Court has commenced bankruptcy proceedings against retail trade network Fresh Market, informs LETA/ELTA.

News website vz.lt reports that all Fresh Market assets have been seized after bankruptcy proceedings were launched.

As of 4 August, Fresh Market owed creditors EUR 4.9 million.

The company had announced about its withdrawal from the market in early August. Earlier the retail network closed its online shop.
