Latvijas Gaze to pay dividends of LVL 0.5 per share

Today, joint-stock natural gas company Latvijas Gaze shareholders approved distribution of the company's 2012 profit, informs LETA/Nozare.lv.

Latvijas Gaze shareholders decided that, out of the company's net profit last year, LVL 22,941,560, LVL 21,351,392 would be distributed. Of this amount, LVL 19.95 million or LVL 0.5 per share will be paid in dividends to the company's shareholders. LVL 1.4 million will be included in the company's reserves.

 

Latvijas Gaze shareholders also elected Kirill Seleznev, Yelena Karpel, Nikolay Dubik, Yelena Mihailova, Juris Savickis, Vlada Rusakova, Uwe Fip, Mario Nullmeier, Matthias Kohlenbach, Achim Saul and Rainer Link to the company's council.

 

PricewaterhouseCoopers was elected the company's auditor of the accounts, report, accounting and financial-economic activity 2013.

 

As reported, Latvijas Gaze profit last year was smaller than in 2011 when the company earned LVL 27.2 million. The company sold natural gas and provided services worth LVL 427.4 million last year, a 21% increase on 2011.

 

Latvijas Gaze shareholders are Germany's E.ON Ruhrgas International GmbH with 47.2% of shares, Russia's Gazprom with 34% and Itera Latvija with 16% of shares.
