Monaco Prince meets with Zatlers; economy and environmental protection main priorities in bilateral relations

Zatlers pointed out that Latvia and Monaco are small countries, and therefore must focus on rational use of their resources.
Prince Albert II in turn emphasized that relations between both countries are dynamic, expressing hope that cooperation between Latvian and Monaco businessmen will improve. The Prince of Monaco was delighted about the opportunity to visit the Latvian Occupation Museum, where he will become more familiar with the history of Latvia, and the company Getlini EKO, where he will witness how Latvia participates in ensuring long term development, informs LETA.
Prince Albert II also lauded "Latvia's achievements in sustainable development."
As reported, today, Prince Albert arrived on an official visit.
During the visit, the Prince and Zatlers will lay flowers at Riga's Freedom Monument, visit the Latvian Occupation Museum, attend official luncheon hosted by Zatlers and the First Lady of Latvia Lilita Zatlere.
The Prince of Monaco will also visit the company Getlini EKO.
