Leo Burnett Riga to create Latvia's "Facebook" page

Print versionAdvertising agency Leo Burnett Riga has won a tender for the right to develop Latvia's page for the social networking website Facebook.com.

The results of the tender were announced today at the Cabinet of Ministers building. The Director of the State Chancellery, Elita Dreimane, and Latvian Institute Director Karina Petersone also participated in the event, informs LETA.
"This was a real tender, in which nothing was previously agreed upon as it sometimes happens in Latvia. It was a fair competition," said Leo Burnett Riga representative Ansis Egle, adding that the company's bid will be further improved.
He said that Latvia's page on "Facebook" will be captivating and the information therein it will be presented from people's perspective.
