The Bank of Latvia has cut Latvia's gross domestic product (GDP) forecast for next year to 2.8% in contrast to the previous forecast of 5.1%.

The latest data of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB) show that in November 2020, compared to November 2019, the average level of consumer prices* decreased by 0.7%. Prices of goods fell by 1.6%, while prices of services rose by 1.4%.

Annual deflation in Estonia made 1.5% in October

According to Statistics Estonia, the change of the consumer price index in October 2020 was -0.5% compared to September 2020 and -1.5% compared to October 2019. Year on year, goods were 0.9% and services 2.4% cheaper.
