BC, Vilnius, 24.03.2020.Print version
Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has decided to extend its suspension of flights to and from Vilnius until April 30 to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the company said LETA/BNS.
"The decision was made as a response to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic," the statement reads.
All affected passengers will be informed. If they bought tickets directly on the company's website or the airline's app, they will automatically receive 120 percent refunds into their Wizz Air accounts and will be able to spend them on the airline's services and products for the next 24 months.
Passengers who bought tickets from travel agencies, including online travel agencies, should contact them.
Before Lithuania introduced quarantine, Wizz Air announced its decision to suspend all flights to and from Lithuania as of March 17 due to governments' decision to close border to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
