Company of Ukraine's richest man registers MSC Media in Latvia

The sole owner of MSC Media is the Cyprus-registered TRK Media Holding Limited, which owns several TV channels in Ukraine and which Akhmetov controls through his Cyprus-registered companies SCM Holdings Limited and SCM (System Capital Management) Limited.
MSC Media has a share capital of EUR 17,000.
Yevhen Liashchenko, the head of SCM Group's company Media Group Ukraine, which owns several TV channels, newspapers, magazines and media websites, has been appointed to the new company's management board.
MSC Media has been included in the Register of Enterprises on June 19, 2018.
According to Lursoft data, MSC Media is the only Latvia-registered company in which Akhmetov is the beneficial owner. Liashchenko does not work in any other Latvia-registered company either.
Forbes magazine estimates Akhmetov's wealth at USD 5.5 billion, which puts him at the top of Ukraine's rich list.
