Estonia: Fermi Energia signs 2 nuclear plant project cooperation agreements

Estonian energy company Fermi Energia on Tuesday signed cooperation agreements with Finnish energy company Fortum and Belgian engineering company Tractebel to launch closer cooperation in the framework of Fermi Energia's small module reactor implementation project, informed LETA/BNS.

Last year 20,939 new passenger cars were registered in Latvia, up 8.6% from 2018, exceeding 20,000 cars for the first time since 2008, according to the information published by the Latvian Auto Association writes LETA.

2019 was a favourable year for crop farmers, resulting in record total production as well as production per hectare. According to Statistics Estonia, the total production of cereals was 1,625,000 tonnes. The total production of potatoes was 120,500 tonnes, which is the largest in the last six years. The production of open-field vegetables was 77,000 tonnes.
