Schmitz Cargobull plans expansion in Lithuania's Panevezys

Print versionGerman company Schmitz Cargobull's subsidiary in Lithuania Schmitz Cargobull Baltic plans expanding its production in the northern city of Panevezys, informs LETA/BNS.

The company's technical director Arturas Stelmokas told BNS Lithuania the construction in Panevezys is scheduled to start in late summer and be finished by the end of this year. He could not say yet how much funds would be invested in expansion.
The larger premises will also be used for the production of vehicle bodies and panels for their production, and the production facility will expand from 17,900 to 24,000 square meters.
The Panevezys company has already gone through several expansion staged since 2013.
