Latvian Dairy to invest EUR 1.464 mln in new equipment

Latvian Dairy (Latvijas Piens) company will invest EUR 1.464 million in new equipment, writes LETA, according to information published in the internet website of the Procurement Monitoring Bureau.

Latvian Dairy had announced a tender on purchase of equipment.

 

The company will invest EUR 612,368 for cheese making equipment from Latvian Aisis company, and EUR 325,000 for cheese salting equipment from Polish company TIGMET S.C. Lubomir Bogusz Karol Kosiniak. Also, Latvian Dairy will purchase steam equipment from Latvian company Reventia for EUR 249,991, storage containers from Aisis for EUR 209,700, and vacuum packaging equipment from German company Sealed Air GmbH (HRB 3970 NO) for EUR 66,690.

 

The purchases will be made by February 3, 2020, attracting financing from the Latvian Rural Development Program.

 

Latvian Dairy posted EUR 3.58 million in turnover and EUR 49,686 in profit in 2016, according to Firmas.lv data.

 

Latvian Dairy was registered in 2015, the company's share capital is EUR 850,000. It belongs to Cyprus registered company Gofort Limited (87.65%) and three Ukrainian citizens.
