Estonian airline Nordica carries 41,200 passengers in March

Print versionThe state-owned Estonian airline Nordica carried in cooperation with its strategic partner LOT Polish Airlines 41,200 passengers in March, 57% more than in the same month last year.

In the first three months of the year the airline carried 107,100 passengers, which is 67% more than in the same period of the previous year.
Nordica performed 786 regular flights during the month or 20% more than in March 2016, to which flights operated for partners outside Estonia were added.
Nordic Aviation Group, or Nordica, was set up in fall 2015 to ensure the continuation of direct flights from Tallinn in the event of a bankruptcy of Estonian Air. In March 2015 Estonian Air carried 45,472 passengers.
Revenue of Nordica in its first financial year that lasted 15 months was 51 mln euros and loss totaled 14.4 mln euros.
