Wizz Air slightly increases passenger turnover from Riga Airport

Print versionHungarian low-fare airline Wizz Air transported a total of 476,200 passengers to and from Riga International Airport last year, which was 0.7% more when compared to 2015, the airline informed BC.

At the moment, Wizz Air has based two airplanes at Riga Airport, while at the same time employing 70 persons, offering nine direct destinations to and from Riga.
Overall, the airline transported a total of 23 mln passengers last year, which is 19% more than the previous year.
Wizz Air is the largest low-fare airline in central and eastern Europe.
