One more LNG cargo booked at Klaipeda terminal for summer

An unnamed customer has booked 0.95 terawatt-hours (TWh) in additional regasification capacity, or approximately one large gas carrier, at the Klaipeda liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, informe LETA/BNS.

The customer booked the capacity for June-July 2020, Klaipedos Nafta, the terminal's operator, said. 


In total, the terminal's users have booked regasification capacity for about 22 TWh for the current gas year ending in late September.


The terminal is used by Lithuania's state-owned electricity and gas supply company Ignitis, the fertilizer manufacturer Achema, Imlitex, which is part of the commodity trade group Imlitex Holdings, and the two Estonian companies – Eesti Energia, and Elenger (Eesti Gaas).
