On Saturday night, cooler air will flow into Latvia and a 1-6 centimeters thick snow cover is expected, according to the weather forecast, informed LETA. 

Precipitation and blizzard is in the forecast, while northern Vidzeme will see mostly dry weather.

Saturday will be sunny, while short periods of snow and blizzard can be expected in central and western Latvia.

The air temperature will drop to -1..-6 degrees C in the morning and rise to +1..-2 degrees C during the day.

Riga will see clouds, snow and blizzars, roads will become slippery. Northern, northwestern wind will blow at up to 18 meters per second in gusts. The air temperature will be at +1..-3 degrees C.
