Balcers scores goal; Senators defeat Canucks

Thursday, Latvian forward Rudolfs Balcers scored a goal, helping his
Ottawa Senators defeated the Vancouver Canucks 5:2, reported LETA.
Balcers scored his goal in the 14th second of the third
period to give the Senators a 3:1 lead.
This was the first NHL goal of the season for Balcers, who
has played most of the season in the AHL.
In the NHL's Eastern Conference standings at the moment, the
Senators are in 15th place with 56 points from 65 matches.
Up next for the Senators - a home game on Saturday against
the Detroit Red Wings.
