Blugers scores goal; Penguins beat Maple Leafs

Print versionIn NHL action on Tuesday, Latvian forward Teodors Blugers scored a goal, helping his Pittsburgh Penguins defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs 5:2, reported LETA.
Blugers scored his team's fifth goal in the 13th minute of the third period to give his team a 5:0 lead.
In 58 NHL matches so far this season, Blugers has scored nine goals and made 13 assists and has a +7 efficiency rating.
In the NHL's Eastern Conference standings at the moment, the Penguins are in third place with 80 points from 58 matches.
Up next for the Penguins - a road game on Thursday at the Toronto Maple Leafs.
