In NBA action on Tuesday, Latvian big-man Kristaps Porzingis returned to action after recovering from injury, but his Dallas Mavericks lost to the Los Angeles Clippers 107:110, reported LETA. 

Porzingis had not played in an NBA game since December 29.

The Latvian also pulled down 10 rebounds, made one assist, one steal and blocked one shot.

Luka Doncic was the highest scorer for the Mavericks with 36 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, while Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Clippers with 36 points and 11 rebounds.

In the NBA's Western Conference standings at the moment, the Mavericks are in sixth place with 27 wins and 16 losses, while the Clippers are in second place in the conference with 31 wins and 13 losses.
