Estonia: Pork purchase price grows 10% on year in 2019

The purchase price of pork in Estonia rose 10% on year in 2019 while that of beef declined 6%, data provided in Statistics Estonia's blog show.
The purchase price of pork was 1,838.4 euros per ton in December, marking the highest level last year. The average price in 2019 was 1,676.7 euros per ton, 10 percent higher than in 2018.
The purchase price of beef declined 6% on year to 2,110.3 euros per ton last year. Mutton and goat meat were on average priced at 3,052.9 euros per ton, 14% higher than the year before.
