Daugavpils lokomotivju remonta rupnica turnover decreased by 15.9% in January-September

The joint-stock locomotive repairs factory Daugavpils lokomotivju remonta rupnica (DLRR) consolidated turnover was EUR 17.372 million in the first nine months of 2014, which is 15.9% less than in the first nine months of 2013, according to the company's financial report submitted to the "Nasdaq Riga" stock exchange, informs LETA.

In the first nine months of 2013, the company's consolidated turnover was EUR 20.695 million.

 

DLRR completed the nine-month period in 2014 with losses of EUR 150,879, as compared to EUR 17,362 consolidated profit in the first nine months of 2013.

 

In January-September 2014, DLRR exported its products to eight countries, the total export volume amounted to EUR 15.5 million (in the same period in 2013 – EUR 19 million). The main directions of export in reporting period were Estonia, Russia, and Belarus.

 

In the nine-month period in 2014, the company's long-term investments totaled EUR 4.3 million. In January 2014, DMU vilcieni, a company that belongs to DLRR, VRC "Zasulauks" and Rigas vagonbuves rupnica, was registered with the purpose of participating in the open tender of Pasazieru vilciens for the modernization of DR1A passenger train cars. It is estimated that the company's part in the contract will amount to EUR 9.4 million.

 

Estonia-registered Skinest Rail is the largest shareholder of DLRR, owning 47.97% of the company's shares, while 25.27% of shares belong to Estonia-registered Spacecom, 15.37% – Estonia-registered LLC Lokomotiiv Investeeringuud, 11.39% – to other shareholders.
