The action plan over quay and gas pipeline construction completion was discussed at the meeting. The prime minister was informed that the work on the LNG terminal project is being carried out seven days per week, while the contractors are making every effort and are working in parallel without obstructing each other's tasks.

During his visit to Klaipeda the prime minister viewed and took the wheel in one of the most advance navigational simulators in Europe. LNG carrier navigation training was carried out on the simulator in late September. Maritime pilots, tugboat captains, representatives of the port authority, LNG terminal and LNG carrier operating company Hoegh LNG took part in the simulation, training to sail in normal and extreme hydro-meteorological conditions.
