Estonian logistics and transit sector companies participate this week at the region's most important transport fair TransRussia that takes place on April 22-25 to strengthen existing relations and create new contacts, LETA/Postimees Online reports.

Competition at the cargo transit market is becoming livelier and whole transit corridors compete with each other, not just companies. Thus it is very important for Estonian companies to participate at the annual TransRussia fair and present Estonian logistics and transit sector there despite the complicated political situation.

Tallinna Sadam (Port of Tallinn) Board Chairman Ain Kaljurand said that all of the most important cooperation partners of the port company will be present in Moscow and not just the Russian ones. Estonian state-owned railway cargo transport company EVR Cargo Board Chairman Ahto Altjõe said that Estonian companies expect to get confirmation of continuation of the already existing cooperation and also creation of new contacts with good future perspectives from participating at the fair.

At the Transrussia fair, in the Estonian fair stand, the following entities are represented: Port of Tallinn, Port of Sillamäe, Paldiski North Port, Estonian Railways Co, EVR Cargo, Spacecom, Contimer, E.R.S., RRK, Alekon Cargo, CF & S, Petromaks Spediitori AS, Intopex Forward, Proline Trans and Estonian Logistics and Transit Association.
