5 bidders apply for expansion of Riga Airport's passenger terminal

A total of five bidders have signed up for the expansion of the Riga International Airport's passenger terminal, the airport announced LETA/Nozare.lv.

The five bidders are: the association FCC, Selva buve and Principle Energy, the association Hochtief Solutions, ACB, the individual companies Arcers, Skonto Buve and Re&Re.

 

The Riga Airport's procurement commission has begun to analyze the bids to assess the technical and financial terms of the bids and their compliance with the technical requirements on the project. Taking into consideration the volume and complexity of work to be done, evaluation of the bids is likely to take more than a month.

 

After the terminal expansion, it will serve Schengen and non-Schengen passengers, thereby improving the quality of the airport's services. The airport will also be able to service larger aircraft and thus have a higher capacity.
