The May cargo volume at Estonian ports fell by 5.9%

Print versionAccording to Statistics Estonia, Estonian ports handled 3.7 million tonnes of cargo in May 2013, which is by 5.9% less than in May 2012, LETA/Delfi reports.

Loading of ships formed 2.8 million tonnes and unloading 898,100 tonnes. Loading grew by 0.7% and unloading fell by 21.7% in a year.
As compared to April this year, cargo volume fell in May by 4.4%.
In the first five months of this year, Estonian ports have handled 18.8 million tonnes of cargo, which is by 4.7% less than at the same time last year.
