Cargo volumes at Estonian railways fell by 26% in April

A total of 1.86 mln tonnes of cargo was transported on Eesti Raudtee (Estonian Railways Co) infrastructure in April 2013, by nearly 26% less than at the same time last year, LETA/Public Broadcasting reports.
The four months' cargo volume was 9.3 million tonnes, a fall of 10% from a year ago.
In April, oil transport on railways fell by 21% year-on-year to 1.18 million tonnes.
The state-owned railway cargo transport company EVR Cargo's cargo volume fell by 18% in four months year-on-year.
