Riga Airport passenger turnover reduces by 5.9% in H1

The number of flights from the Riga Airport reduced 4.2%.
In June, the Riga Airport's passenger turnover totaled 473,260 – 11.1% down on June 2011, whereas the number of flights from the airport decreased 9.8%, writes LETA.
Tallinn and Vilnius airports have not yet released their data for the first half-year, but judging from the data for the first five months, Tallinn and Vilnius airports' passenger turnover is on the rise.
Tallinn Airport served almost 215,700 passengers in May, which is 19% more than in May 2011, and 831,000 passengers in the first five months of the year, a 22% increase year-on-year.
Vilnius Airport's passenger turnover increased 40.25% in the first five months to 742,225 passengers. In May, the airport served 190,877 passengers – 8.77% more than in May 2011.
