New postage stamps with images of the Curonian Spit launched in Lithuania

Print versionTwo new postage stamps with images of the Curonian Spit were launched in circulation, the maritime news portal Jura24.lt reports.

One depicts the Curonian Spit, the other – an ethnographic fisherman's farmstead in the Sand hill. Post stamps were released as a series of "World heritage" part, informs LETA.
Both stamps were created by Rita Bruciene. The issue totals 100,000 units, the nominal value totals three litas.
