flyLAL in cooperation with Ergo introduced new insurance service

flyLAL – Lithuanian Airlines introduced a new service in cooperation with the insurance company Ergo Lietuva – travel insurance online, the carrier announced.

Coverage of medical expenses and repatriation, accident and baggage additional insurance services can be bought on the homepage of the airline or when booking a flight ticket online, writes ELTA.

 

It is planned to offer in the nearest future civil liability insurance valid abroad.

 

Payment for insurance services can be made via electronic banking system or a credit card. Upon completion of payment, an insurance policy, information sheet and travel insurance regulations are sent to the client’s electronic mailbox.

 

Furthermore, now passengers are offered a very flexible service – an option select types of travel insurance rather than buying services, pre-grouped into separate packages that may not be "disassembled". Clients are offered also a very long – up to 1 year – insurance term, therefore people travelling frequently and departing for a long time will not have to renew their insurance agreement.

 

Electronic payment for travel services booked on flyLAL website is accepted from the clients of electronic banking of six Lithuanian bankas – SEB, Hansabankas, DnBNord, Danske, NORDEA and Ûkio bank. Payment by VISA/MASTERCARD credit cards is also accepted.
