Tanker with Venezuelan oil for Belarus comes to Klaipeda

On August, 29 during the night the tanker carrying test batch of Venezuelan oil for Belarus approached Lithuania, Charter 97 reports.

According to the words of general Director of Lithuanian oil company Klaipedos Nafta Rokas Masiulis: "We are ready to receive the tanker with Venezuelan oil for Belarus".

Klaipedos Nafta before signed an agreement on deliveries of a test shipment of Venezuela's oil via Transchema company, which promotes the production of enterprises constituent to concern Belneftekhim, at the markets of Lithuania and other European states.

 

Transchema is also getting ready to receive the first tanker with Venezuelan oil, ionforms LETA/ELTA.

 

"Our company has prepared all the documents and is ready to provide the reception, shipment and transfer of Venezuelan oil for Belarus by railway tankers – all arrangements are present for this," director of Transchema Vitaly Kalugin noted.

 

Klaipedos Nafta plans to continue negotiations about further deliveries of larger batches of Venezuelan oil, in which it is economically interested; – the talk is about the transit through Klaipeda of approximately 2 million tons per year.
