Bus company MootorReisi earned 3.2 mln kroons in profits in 2009

Hannes Sarapuu, the managing director of the enterprise, commented that the economic crisis that erupted on all of the company’s core markets did not, in the end, affect the group’s operations much and the crisis had a rather positive impact.
The route revenue earned by MootorReisi grew by 22% in 2009 in comparison to the previous year, amounting to 110 million kroons. The group’s subsidiaries carried during the entire year a total of 386,000 passengers – 18% more than a year before.
In 2008, the bus company earned a loss of 5.5 million kroons.
