Lithuanian airport’s passenger service down by 31%

Print versionThe Lithuanian airports has served 1.042 million passengers over January-July in this year, it is a decrease of 31% year-on-year.

According to the Department of Statistics, the majority of passengers arrived from and went to the United Kingdom (15.2%), Latvia (12.8%), Germany (10.3%), Denmark (9.3%) and Ireland (8.8%).
In January-July 2009, compared with the same period of the last year, the number of passengers going to and from Latvia grew by 3.6 times due to the changed flight destinations.
