A new shipment of American oil for Belarus arrived in the Lithuanian seaport of Klaipeda on Sunday, marking the second ever shipment of American oil for Belarus, informs LETA/BNS.

The Qatari-flagged UMLMA arrived from Port Neches-Beaumont, Texas on Sunday afternoon, according to the vessel position tracking websites marinetraffic.com and myshiptracking.com.

Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil), the operator of the Klaipeda oil terminal, said earlier the tanker was delivering around 75,000 tons of crude from the US.

Belarus' state-owned oil group Belneftekhim said earlier that a vessel with 80,000 tons of White Eagle Blend (WEB) oil would come from the US port of Beaumont to Klaipeda in early August.

From Klaipeda, the crude oil would be transported by rail to the Nafta refinery in Novopolotsk, according to Belneftekhim.
