Lithuania's oil product and liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals operator Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil) expects its 2017 annual net profit to be close to or slightly higher than last year's 13.8 million euros, reports LETA/BNS.

"The results should be the same or higher than last year," Klaipedos Nafta CEO Marius Pulkauninkas said in a webinar on Tuesday.

According to the CFO, the company notes an increase in oil product loadings after Russia has stopped restricting oil supplies to Belarus and expects fourth-quarter transshipment volumes to remain close to those in the fourth quarter.

"We don't expect any major changes in terms of transshipment volumes," he said.

Klaipedos Nafta saw its net profit for January through September fall to 12.318 million euros, down 5.6% from 13.042 million euros in the same period last year.

Revenue for the nine months declined by 1% to 79.498 million euros, from 80.284 million euros a year ago.

The state owns 72.32% of shares in the company, which is quoted on the blue-chip Main List of the Nasdaq Vilnius stock exchange, and Achemos Grupe holds a 10.24% stake.
