New members of the board of Rīgas brīvostas flote approved

The Freeport of Riga Authority, as the only shareholder of Rīgas brīvostas flote Ltd. (hereinafter — the Company), has approved new Members of the Board: Rolands Klincis has been appointed as a Member of the Board for development matters and Irina Feļdmane has been appointed as a Member of the Board for finance management matters, reported BC port’s press service.

Both Members of the Board have been appointed pursuant to the competition procedure. Both Klincis and Feļdmane have been appointed to their positions for the next 5 years, observing provisions of Section 79 Paragraph three of the Law On Governance of Capital Shares of a Public Person and Capital Companies.


Klincis has extensive experience in holdings management. He has managed large projects, worked in the banking and manufacturing sectors and held positions of member of the boards and councils: Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Kapitalbank JSC, Member of the Board and CFO at Rīgas Kuģubūvētava JSC, Advisor to the Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Tosmares Kuģubūvētava JSC, etc. Klincis obtained his higher education at the University of Latvia with a specialisation in economic informatics and automated management systems and an engineering economist’s qualification.


Feļdmane has over 20 years of experience in holdings management at public and private companies in financial planning, tariff calculations, resource management and administration. Feļdmane has previously worked at the Board of Riga International Airport, the Board of Rīgas Satiksme as well as in leading financial positions in several international companies. Feļdmane obtained her MBA and professional master’s degree in company and organisation management.


The new composition of the Board of the Company will start its work on 19 October 2017, when Feļdmane will join current Members of the Board T. Bērziņš and R. Klincis.
