Latvian Shipping Company has sold its office building in Riga

On July 25, JSC "Latvian Shipping Company" (LSC) signed an agreement on the sale of its current office building. The buyer and the next owner of the house will be the United Arab Emirates, who purchased the six-story building on Elizabetes Street 1 in Riga for the needs of the embassy. For the sell price of 4.2 million EUR, informed Laima Zēmele from LSC.

"LSC will continue to work in the existing premises until January 2018 and we are delighted to announce the exclusive lease of the 8th floor of "Place Eleven", located in the Skanste neighborhood, Sporta Street 11," explains the LSC Chairman of the Management Board Robert Kirkup.

 

"Place Eleven" is a 14-storey-high Class A office building that has been put into operation, at the end of 2016. The building has been constructed according to the sustainable construction standard. The project won first place in the nomination "The Most Sustainable Project in Latvia 2015". The building has a convenient infrastructure network.

 

JSC "Latvian Shipping Company" (Nasdaq Riga: LSC1R) is vessel owner in the segment of medium and handy size tankers. The company owns 16 modern vessels employing more than 1300 professional and high-skilled seamen from Latvia. Besides, LSC subsidiary "LSC Ship management" Ltd is technically serving 9 more vessels, thus managing a fleet of 25 vessels. The average age of the LSC fleet is 9 years. All of the vessels have received ISM (International Safety Management) certificates.
