Tallinn's public transport company buying used buses for EUR 672,000

Tallinna Linnatranspordi AS (TLT), public transport company of the city of Tallinn, has chosen an offer to sell to it buses up to 12 years old for 672,000 euros as the winner of a tender to buy 15-20 second-hand buses, informs LETA/BNS.

The winning offer was made by the company KTK Tehnika OU, based in Kaiu village in Rapla county, it appears from the procurement report.

 

In accordance with the terms of the tender, the buses must be of the same marque and at least 12 of the units must be similar, in a similar condition and with a similar interior design. The buses must be at least 11.5 meters long, of low-floor design, have three doors and be fitted with a wheelchair ramp.

 

The buses must have a diesel engine of at least 160 kilowatts of power, 4-6-speed automatic transmission, and meet Euro 3 pollution standards.

 

The buses' passenger area heating system must be suited for use in Nordic conditions and the buses must be fitted with an additional heating device of at least 30 kilowatts of heating power.

 

The buses must have a capacity of at least 84 passengers, including a seating capacity of at least 28 passengers.
