Auto 100 to take over functions of Skoda importer in Latvia

the functions are performed by Karlo
Motors.
Avotins said that since last fall, the Latvian branch
of Auto 100 has been conducting preparatory work -- restructuring and repositioning the
whole koda model line-up with completely new standard equipment complying with
today's market and customer demands.
"We have already signed several agreements on the
establishment of new full-service dealers in Riga, and in October, in one of
the main automotive arteries of the city, at Krasta street 5, we will open a
new Skoda full-service
dealer center, Green Motors," said Maris Jansons, manager of
the Latvian branch of Auto 100.
He said that an investment will be made in the center
by a convincing player in the local market, Skandi Motors, who have proved themselves
in automotive industry by offering customers high quality and level services
securing their loyalty to company.
A second Skoda full-service dealer center in Riga, Verta Auto, is planned to open at the beginning of 2019. The investor in that center
is the Estonia based company TKM Auto OU, a 100 percent holding of the listed Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp, which has extensive experience in automotive industry in the Baltic
region.
"We are also working hard on the development
of Skoda dealerships
in Vidzeme, Kurzeme and Latgale regions. Auto 100 and Adole Invest will not enter the retail market in Latvia and will fulfil only
importer functions," Jansons said.
The Latvian affiliate of Auto 100 is part of the Estonian Auto 100, which distributes and works as retail
partner in Estonia for car brands such as Skoda and Porsche. It is also the official dealer of
Lamborghini cars in the Baltic states and Finland, as well as authorized
service partner for Bentley in Estonia.
Auto 100 belongs to the Estonian investment company Adole Invest, which is a part of the
Danish company Semler Gruppen.
Semler Gruppen is the largest Danish
company in the sector with more than 100-years of experience and represents all
brands of Volkswagen Group in Denmark.
