Tallinna Kaubamaja to found automotive subsidiary in Latvia

A subsidiary of the listed Estonian retailer Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp, TKM Auto OU, is to found a new subsidiary in Latvia with an aim to develop the group's automotive business in Latvia, informs LETA.

TKM Auto OU, a 100 percent subsidiary of Tallinna Kaubamaja Group, is founding a 100% subsidiary with the business name Verte Auto SIA in Latvia. The area of activity of the new subsidiary will be vehicle sales and servicing, Tallinna Kaubamaja told the stock exchange.


The board member of the subsidiary will be Tonu Piirmaa who has a lot of experience in automotive business and who has been a member of the board of the company's other subsidiary, SIA Forum Auto, since 2013. The subsidiary's supervisory board members will be Aarne Ollek, Andres Jarving, Raul Puusepp and Juri Kuusk.


Founding the subsidiary will not affect the consolidated financial results of the group. The board and supervisory board members of Tallinna Kaubamaja have no other personal interests in the transaction.
