Honda to recall 4,800 cars in Estonia

"During the present stage around 4,800 cars will be recalled in Estonia. Actually, the campaign is Europe-wide and cars have been recalled in various stages also last year and the year before that," head of Honda Baltic's secondary market Kaupo Veegen told LETA/BNS.
According to Veegen it is hard to predict how long it will take to recall all cars. In addition, customers might not react to the recall. "Customers will contact us and we will book an appointment. Separate spare parts have to be ordered for each car and it might take some time," Veegen said, adding that hopefully customers will actively contact the company.
"Results of Honda's quality control monitoring show that some Honda Accord, Civic, Stream, Jazz, Insight and CR-V models from 2004-2010 might have a safety defect," it is written in a letter sent to Honda Baltic customers.
Honda is asking its customers to contact the company to book an appointment.
