Estonian airline Nordica carried 365,179 passengers in 2016

Print versionThe state owned Estonian airline company Nordic Aviation Group operating under the Nordica brand carried 365,179 passengers in 2016, reports LETA/BNS.

This gives the company an average market share of more than
18% at Tallinn Airport when it comes to scheduled flights. For the number of
passengers Nordica ranks one-tenth above the second biggest carrier here,
Nordica said.
In the final quarter of 2016 the market share of Nordica in
scheduled flights rose to approximately 20%.
Nordica started operation in November 2015, following the
bankruptcy of Estonian Air. In March 2016 the first flights using planes in
Nordica colors took place. Nordica and LOT Polish Airlines started strategic
cooperation on Nov. 19 last year.
