Less passengers in Latvia carried by public transport in January-September 2016

Print versionA total of 182.9 mln passengers were carried by public transport in January-September this year, which is 2.1% less than in the first nine months of 2015, according to the Central Statistical Bureau's data.
The number of passengers carried by regular bus traffic
lines decreased 1.1% to 107.396 mln - this is 1.24 mln passengers less than in
January-September 2015.
13,092 mln passengers used rail transport - 0.2% or 21,500
passengers less than in the same period last year.
62.411 mln passengers were carried by urban electric
transport - 4.2% or 2.707 mln less than in January-September of 2015.
