5 car dealerships in Latvia to be merged

Inchape BM Auto, the dealership of BMW, Mini, Alpina, Jaguar, Land Rover automobiles and BMW Motorrad motorcycles in Latvia, will be merged with Inchape Motors Latvia, which sells Mazda and Ford automobiles in Latvia, according to a statement printed in the official gazette Latvijas Vestnesis.

Inchcape Motors Latvia representative Jana Garanca told LETA that the merger deal will have no effect on the said automobile brands, individual dealerships or their cooperation with customers. The merger will consolidate the structure of Inchape Group companies in Latvia and improve the internal processes at the company, she explained.


Inchcape Motors Latvia's share capital is EUR 14,377,704. Last year, the company posted EUR 21,775,803 in turnover and EUR 1,404,151 in losses.


On the other hand, Inchcape BM Auto share capital is EUR 15,469,035. The company turned over EUR 50,318,088 in 2015 and earned EUR 1,761,522 in profit.


Both companies belong to the Dutch company Inchcape International Group B.V.
