Latvijas Pasts postal company's CEO Arnis Salnajs and other board members – Ilze Bagatska, Arnis Gulbis and Egons Strazdins – have handed in their resignations, as the company's external communications officer Gita Valtenberga told LETA.

The Transport Ministry confirmed to LETA that Salnajs' resignation had been received. The ministry declined to comment on the reasons why Salnajs was stepping down. Latvijas Pasts shareholders meeting will be held in the afternoon, where a decision will be taken on whether to accept Salnajs' resignation.
